MiBIU is a business mobile energy app which puts energy management in our customers’ hands.

Designed for Apple iOS, the MiBIU energy app uses unrivalled software and analysis of market intelligence to help world-leading organisations drive down costs and improve energy efficiency via their phone.

The energy monitoring app enables users to carry out comparisons of gas and electric consumption across multiple sites and locations, helping companies to identify areas of excessive consumption and drive energy saving initiatives. Data is drawn from BIU’s bespoke online systems, which relate directly to our customers’ portfolio of properties and billing data, including contracted billing rates and detailed profile-based energy consumption data. This provides businesses with a day+1 mobile energy tracker, for calculating costs against consumption and analysing actual usage against target in order to assess and prevent waste.

MiBIU has been developed as a pro-active energy management tool, sending notifications for a wide range of pre-determined alerts - allowing energy managers to monitor usage and drive performance of teams with timely, accurate data. Social connections between multiple sites enables users to share ideas and best practice.

MiBIU incorporates our Automated Meter Reading Service (AMR), which looks at energy usage at half hourly periods on a daily basis, identifying areas of over-consumption.

MiBIU also incorporates BIU’s energy alarms, which are triggered (per day or weekly) when usage exceeds expected consumption levels, and are reported on an individual site basis; making it invaluable for organisations with multiple sites.
